It’s no secret that I’m a planner addict to anyone who knows me. I love having a personalized planner or Bullet Journal with me at all times and have forever. As you can probably tell, I am a type A person. I like organization and I like to know whats going on, what I need to go, and to have a plan of attack to get that done.
The truth is that as you get older you will need some sort of planner and system. You are balancing so much more then you think you are and seeing it all in one place really can make all of the difference in getting stuff done without overwhelming yourself. I am personally a plan of paper planners for a bunch of reasons including speed, less distraction then digital (How many times have you unlocked your phone and somehow magically ended up on Pinterest when that wasn’t your intention at all?) and customization.
The one I will focus on in this blog post is customization. Planning is 95% personality. You have to make sure that you have the basics in there yes. Appointments, work, kids stuff, but the way you color code (If you do) the separate pages, personal notes and lists, sticky notes, that’s all you. Paper planners give you that flexibility more than apps limited by code can.
Here are some of the lists that I have in my Bullet Journal:

- Arrends
